The A2/L1/L2/Kroma Tail Shroud turns the tailswitch into a tailstanding unit on. The straight version is the same diameter as the body to allow it to fit into holsters. These were designed to maintain a good seal on the rubber boot, and should have no negative impact on water resistance. Modification of the origional switch is required to put this shroud on, which will likely void the warantee. To install, remove the stock retaining ring from the back of the switch by turning it counterclockwise, and replace with the shroud unit. The stock unit may be held secure with a form of Loctite, and may require heat to break free. I recommend using a hairdryer for a few minutes to remove.
