How do I secure my firearm at night?

I have kids in the house, how can I have my gun ready but kept safe from curious kids?

1. The best way is to educate them about firearms and the dangers of them, but also that they can be safe when handled correctly.  Take the curiosity away with education.

   The NRA has a great program for doing exactly this called the “Eddie Eagle” program.



2. Second, get a fast access safe for the bedroom night stand.
